We started with work. Factories. Stores. Sites. Drawings. Quotations. Production. Mistakes. Repetition. Somewhere inside all of that were hundreds of problems waiting to become software.
Intellectz is a technology company that turns specific real-world problems into independently useful software products. Not one enormous system that a business must adopt wholesale — a growing portfolio of focused products, each of which solves something particular and can be used entirely on its own.
Most of the problems we found are too small to build a company around, and too expensive to keep doing by hand. Someone checks a drawing for twenty-five minutes before releasing it. Someone recalculates curtain fabric on the back of a quotation. Someone pays a supplier invoice because verifying it line by line would take longer than the discrepancy is worth.
None of those deserve a five-year enterprise implementation. All of them deserve software. So we build one product per problem, price each against the annoyance it removes rather than a software budget, and let customers take exactly what they need.
You never have to understand Intellectz to use an Intellectz product. Someone may use SculptScale for five years and never look at anything else we make. That's a success, not a missed opportunity.
And when a business does end up running several of our products, they can be connected — data and workflows shared across them. That connected state has a name, Intellectz OS, but it is where using Intellectz can lead, not where anyone has to begin.
Two decades of operating businesses, and an unusual amount of time on factory floors, in showrooms and on building sites. A panel cut wrong. A quotation recalculated by hand. A site photograph nobody could attribute. A customer who couldn't find the right product. A jewellery model resized until it wouldn't cast. Each of those cost someone real money, and each became a rule inside a product. That is a slower way to acquire a roadmap than market research, and a considerably more reliable one.
